Truly Worthwhile
Being in hotel room where everything is served is something common, but being served is not something I really like. I like doing everything by myself, as long as I have time to do it. In my house I have a maid who always prepare breakfast or dinner and she also cleans my house, but for serving my husband and kids I prefer to do it myself. Back to hotel’s stuffs, I have stayed in a very expensive penthouse, above USD 800 per night, yet the presence of the staffs who cleaned the room and served the meals was a bit annoying.
But I was stunned when I stayed at a private villa in Bali last month. I spent my annual leave with my family at a nice Bali private villa; my friend recommended me that house. I enjoyed being there, especially as the staff’s presence didn’t annoy us at all. They worked discreetly so that we didn’t realize they were there! It was such an amazing experience that I hadn’t imagined before. The staffs were attentive and always smile; they didn’t bother us with questions or overacting services. I could see they gave us “services from the heart” and it was truly worthwhile.
